So I am holding myself accountable!

Week 17-1/2 ~ Can You really catch up?

Catch up…what are you talking about???

Well here it is. I wanted to have a running to blog during this course but, I am behind. The question is, what do I do now?

The answer is simple…get started, get better, and plan the time to get my blog posts up!

I am where I am… but… I am going where I want because, I refuse to let someone else steer!

More to come!

Monkey and the Banana.

You know how you have a desire and it is right in your hands but for some reason, you just can’t totally get it?

You keep trying, get it in your hands but can’t own it….you keep doing the same thing over and over and over and over and over again. Still can’t close the deal.

Let’s take a little inventory at this point:
Do You have the desire?- Check
Can you picture owning it?- Check
Are you persistent?- Check
Will you do whatever it takes?- (the sound of crickets)

Hey Monkey, you can't pull your hand out while holding the banana. You are going to starve unless you devise a new plan.

What is the lesson? Be persistent but don’t starve yourself. Sometimes you just need to do something a little different than what you have planed. Don’t be flimsy be flexible…Now when I saw flexible, I don’t mean be flexible about your desire. That is where you are firm.

Think about the monkey. He really wants the banana. If he would just let go of him faulty tactic of getting it , he would be able to open his mind to other ways.

Are you stuck with your hand in the jar? My guess is , we all are guilty. The big question is, what are you going to do about it?
